You really gonna bet against 13 years of history?  Hurney is not good.  Not even average.  Bad, he's real bad.

Good luck on your prediction tho.  Maybe this class will be the one that hits?

Actually, he's well above average if you look into his history. He hits on more picks than the average general manager. This isn't debatable unless you're willfully ignorant.

Though I can understand your perspective. That is if you don't look around the league, you don't understand how bad the turnover in GMs, and how poorly the "average" GM performs.

You're just a reactionary.

What the fug are you talking about? I'm as critical as they come. I'm just not a Gettlemanstan like you. Literally every post you make is either shitting on Hurney or lifting up Gettleman's horrendous draft picks.

I like how I can copy and paste this and it still works for you.

I’m. Let’s pull our post history. Let’s see how many times you said anything bad about Hurney or good about Gettleman. You have been Hurney’s  most vocal supporter since at least my first day.

Then I’ll show post after post of me defending Hurney and destroying  Gettleman. You wanna talk. Let’s go to the facts. You’re not going to like this.

Can't wait for the link to your source on this claim.

OTOH ... I'm pretty sure the Patriots draft record is turrible.  They still win.

Show anything. Anything at all supporting those claims. Why don’t teams call him for jobs. Any freaking job!!!

So dismissive.  Not very polite.  You must have splendid keyboarding skills to type with your nose so high in the air.

Though I can understand your perspective, being detached from reality is a common tactic to evade opposing opinions.  I've personally witnessed every single Hurney draft from both stints of his embarrassing career.  His 1st rounders are usually great, but picking top-10 should be pretty easy.  After that?  Gets real dicey.

Pick a Hurney draft, any one.  Lets discuss.  I'm so ready for this.

Hurney does a decent job as a GM outside of one critical flaw, he can't evaluate talent outside of the first round.  He nails the first round and the rest is of his picks are suspect at best.  Again, I wanted Andre Dillard.  Why?  I knew our pass-pro SUCKED!!!!! So what did we do?   Passed up on the best one... and was actually available for a 3-4 pass rushing LB.  Problem?  Anyone that thinks it was going to be a smooth transition to a 3-4 form a 4-3 with just a few FA moves and a rookie was absolutely kidding themselves.  Then he moves up for an OT...yeah, I'll say it; a freaking REACH as he was dropping like a rock on every big board I was researching shows he can't look at talent outside of a top 32 candidate.

I'm sorry, but I'm not wasting my time with you. If you want to, go for it.

Though this thread is absurd. This is what I mean by reactionary. You're jumping onto a bandwagon to poo on draft picks 10 games into a season, when it's arguably the first bad game this class has had overall. It's not even specific criticism, it's just shitting on the entire draft class.
