If a healthy Cam is not starting next season, Tepper might as well concede to the stadium being predominantly opposing fans for like the next 2 seasons

He wasn’t sure about Cam when he bought the team and now Cam has a bum shoulder that will never fully recover and a body that is post 30. In Tepper’s mind Cam has been gone since 2018. I love Cam but that’s the reality. At best Cam could have had a good year this year and played out the contract. But he’s gone.

Did this actually exist? Lol

Seems made up. Cam's tenure here has nothing to do with Allen, and it isnt affected by whatever transpired during the game.

Cam's tenure is linked to Ron's, and it's linked to potential replacement QBs.

Yea I agree, people who supported Allen’s rise and fall and those who were ready to dance on Cam’s grave are not mutually exclusive things.

For me this wasn't a Cam vs Kyle issue. It was pure player evaluation. I wasnt buying the hype during the 4 game winning streak.

What propelled them was CMC getting 160+ yards from scrimmage or the defense getting insane amount of sacks and turnovers giving the offense a short field. Kyle fumbled about 7 times during that stretch but some fans decided to ignore the warning signs because he wasn't throwing picks. Well he has thrown 6 picks in the last 2 games and it could have been more. The difference is that the defense isnt generating the same amount of turnovers and we are playing against higher tier QBs.

Kyle Allen is the future at QB as long as your defense generates 3 Tos and 7 sacks a game and your running back gets 2k yards from scrimmage a season.

also what's with people celebrating Rivera's departure and Cam's "return"...?

Those two things almost certainly conflict

I hope they're not. The decisions should be entirely unrelated. Cam's future should depend on his medical evaluation. Ron's future should depend on his team's performance on the field.

I don’t feel like I owe anybody any apologies, but if you’d like to take your frustrations out on me for pointing out in July with Kyle Allen was the clear number two quarterback for this team, please feel free.

That’s where my analysis started and ended. I celebrated some of his finer moments, along with many of you. And I chastised him for all of the bad plays he’s made, without any excuses.

He’s a paid professional, and today’s results are unacceptable. Plenty of other issues, but the quarterback always gets the spotlight, good or bad.

Your bigger issue at hand is the head coach and general manager who have constructed this nightmare of a mess. And the owner, who boasted about wanting to be a winner from day one, yet retained these two individuals to put together this sub-standard package of dogshit.

A backup QB is pretty far down the list of things you should be mad about. But again, it’s the position that gets the spotlight. He was pretty terrible this week. So I get it.
