Moore Looked Sharp!

You are aware that most baseball prospects are drafted from small schools and junior colleges, right?

I thought this was a forum about football, not baseball. He went there cause he is dumb as a brick. Why didn't UCLA take him back since he won a few key games for them? Cause they knew he done flunked out, and the focus would have been on his grades, not his play on the field!

I'm saying if he thought his football career was going nowhere and he wanted to try to play baseball, it would behoove him to go to the kind of school where baseball prospects scout. If you need me to slow that down for you anymore, just ask.

Any comments about Moore right now, other than the fact that he is the main backup, are silly. As our OC did NOTHING to help Moore do anything. 3rd and 2, and we have him throw, when our running game was running well. Davidson needs to pull his head out of his ass ~ still.

As for Moore, he'll be fine.

He lost his starting job to injury, then got run off cause of grades!

"the staff has no confidence in his lazy ass??" what evidence do you have in this?

he showed tremendous promise in '07 when he assumed the starting role near the end of the season. what i like about matt moore is that he's calm and has patience, excellent poise in the pocket, decently athletic, and has a good arm. i would love to see him start some games this year, maybe jake will be out for a little bit.

you cant solely base his skill on his performance against the eagles.

Not to mention his great 3 TD and 6 Int stats.

Delhomme is struggling. But, Moore is not the answer.

He is a below average back-up....no more and no less.

How is it any different than being unexplainably pro-Moore?
those who are 'pro-moore' only want him to be given a real opportunity since jake has shown that he can't be trusted much this year. that's it.

you guys who are running this anti-moore campaign are doing nothing more than trolling, being irrational, making up stories about moore that you can't back up, and spelling poorly.

Exactly.

The "pro-Moore" crowd is more like the "anti-Delhomme" crowd (which constitutes probably 99% of the Panthers nation -- Fox being the 1%). Those like myself who want Moore to start do so not because we think Moore's the second coming of Breesus, but because we think that he can't do worse than Delhomme (and the three games he's started lead us to believe that's the case).

Look it up yourself, It's on the internet, go to L.A. Times or one of the media outlets there and pull it up! I read it back in the day in the USA Today.
you're the one making accusations, it's up to you to find and back up what you're saying.

it's pretty obvious that all you are doing is throwing crap on the wall and hoping that some of it will stick and that anyone will take you seriously.

good luck with that.

The last time I'm saying this, watch those three games, not the highlights off of them, and you'll see why he is no better than anyone on our roster. He should have played baseball by what you people are saying.
