Moore Looked Sharp!

If thats your excuse, why dog Jake's sorry ass then? They both are sorry, just one is a winner, and one a quitter! Except for Jake ths season.

I'm not sure I follow... Because our OLine was letting defenders through like a *****, you think it's an excuse to say Moore sucked?

Also, not sure I follow... why dog Jake's sorry ass then? Not sure what you're are referring to.. are you telling me I am dogging Jake in that game? If so, let me clarify... NO QB would have done well, by any means, in that game. I'm only speaking on that game.

To your comment about them both being sorry.. Yeah, you're fairly accurate on that one. Jake has been bad with turnovers, as we all know and are aware of. and Moore is currently a backup who hasn't been able to take over for Jake Delhomme. (if people think he'll be that much better, well, I'm sure he would be starting if that was the case... although I do want to see him, just for the hell of seeing someone different. I don't suspect he'll be great compared to Delhomme, but there's always a chance.)

As for you calling Delhomme a quitter.. not sure how you figure that. Seems most human beings would have quit by now in his situation. The fact he hasn't speaks volumes to having a "never quit" attitude.

Dude, if he is such a quitter, the moment he went undrafted would have been the end of his football career.

I'm not even that much of a Moore advocate and I think this thread is ridiculous.

He let a whole school down dude. He had a bowl game that was out of this world, and two preseason games for the Cowboys that were great, but thats really about it. Look it up, don't take my word for it since you haven't.

Moore isn't as good as Jake, thats the bottom line. I will call in and get Beason to answer what Qb looks best in practice and you will hear him say what the coaches, players, and the media who attends practices have been saying since week two.

Jake is the worst QB in the NFL this year. Moore couldn't be any worse. He could be as bad, but not worse.

The guy is a quitter. He tried to quit his football team in highschool, cause he was torn between it and baseball, he flunked out of UCLA as their starter and let his team down, the players that were on that team at that time hate him, and you really trust him winning games for us?

Your information is totally incorrect. Matt never quit his football team in high school. He played on the Varsity baseball team his sophomore and junior year, and didn't play baseball his senior year so he could focus on football.

He did not flunk out of UCLA - he left because he didn't want to play for Dorrell any longer. When he started there, Bob Toledo was the head coach, then when Toledo was fired at the end of Matt's freshman year, Karl Dorrell became the head coach. Matt won the starting position his sophomore year, then got hurt. Matt left UCLA at the end of his sophomore season. He went to a junior college during that season that he took off of football, played in an adult baseball league and got drafted by the Angels that June. He decided not to pursue his baseball career then as he wanted to play football again, and the opportunity came for him to play at Oregon State.

Most of the players at UCLA understood why Matt left and were supportive of his decision. Everything you have written has been flat out wrong!!

Yeah, he just had 2 good preseason games.

Never mind a 2-1 record and 3 touchdowns vs. 2 interceptions as a starter. Never mind that he was voted the offensive rookie of the month December, 2007 for his actions as a starter. I guess all the people who voted for him are wrong too. If only they had all listened to you, they could have spared themselves the humiliation of basing a decision on game film and statistics and instead base their opinion of a football player's performance on what you read on TMZ.
