Moore Looked Sharp!

I thought Moore looked more athletic in there (because he is) and was ready for him to stay in and see what he could do. Too bad he overthrew the wide open TE. Probaby abit pumped up but he you gotta make it count when you have your chance.

he showed tremendous promise in '07

Not really. He was average at best with a high school playbook against 2nd and 3rd stringers, and awful against the one team that had seen him before. Not to mention when he would come in and stink up the joint.

What he showed in 2007 was a guy who went undrafted for a reason, a QB with little talent and virtually no upside/potential.

You're nuts. He didn't play an "awful" game against Dallas. He played a very respectable game for an undrafted rookie who didn't even have preseason with the team. And considering he was robbed of a potentially game-changing deep pass while the game was still competitve, to say he was "awful" is just dumb.

Moore didn't play against second stringers in Seattle.

And are you really blaming him for how he performed when he was sluffed in during garbage time for some game experience? And I bet you still point to his turnover ratio completely ignoring the fact that at least 2 of those interceptions were on hail Mary passes when Moore was stuck in because his arm was stonger than Carr's or Vinny's.

What the rest of us saw, and still see is a green QB with a very decent skill set and physical tools, and pocket presence that belies his age and experience. But I guess if you just go to Wikipedia and look up his career stat line, I can see how you could possibly come up with an opinion as woefully misguided as yours.

Are you on the team?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Even with sarcasm, this is a little too far-fetched to even be ranked as stupid.

I guess that since Moore was thrown into the game today, does that confirm who would be the starter if Jake eventually is benched? I know there has been some debate on if Fox would go with the veteran or not if it came down to it.

I think it spoke volumes, and we can hope Fox will keep Moore as the #2 until he decides to move him up to the ones.

I wish Fox would have given him more chances to throw. Dink and dunks would have been fine imo, just to keep the defense more honest. I think we could have scored more, and sealed that game away, rather than just the status quo of Fox to sit on the lead. It worked, but it could have cost us had we not executed perfectly when we needed to. I'd rather not risk relying on their defense to give allow us the yards needed, but more that we take them at will.

Most unintelligent sports assessment EvAR!!!!

Putting it up against Pissco, Prickso, err.. Prisco -- that's saying something!!

That one pass was almost caught by a fan in section 105, row 2. He looked sharp as usual! Just as sharp as 5 downs, throws an interception against Eagles! Quality backup!

sooo...has anyone started neg repping the anti-moore trolls?

I liked him until I watched the 3 starts and found out he wasn't as great as we thought. The season was so bad, he looked better than Carr, and thats about it. Jakes performance yesterday was way better than any of his, period! Watch those three games from kickoff to gun, and you'll see Shaun King, and we know what he's dong now.

There is a reason for that, since he looked so sharp against the eagles backups and still got picked off. The staff has no confidence in his lazy ass!

yeah, it's child's play to complete throws in the NFL when on every play you have an Eagle's defender in your face.... great example.

If thats your excuse, why dog Jake's sorry ass then? They both are sorry, just one is a winner, and one a quitter! Except for Jake ths season.
