We will need to clean house and draft a QB in the 1st round this next draft.

Trevor 2021 is our best bet.  Unless we trust Tua to stay healthy, otherwise we’d probably be reaching where we are likely to pick

Remember in 2007 when the Falcons came to Charlotte with absolutely nothing to play for (their dipshit coach Bobby Petrino had just walked out on them and they were horrible) and Joey Harrington drove down for a game winning touchdown like our defense wasn't even on the field

Well, John Fox got three more years after that.  Hopefully that doesn't happen under a new owner.

Might be time to locate Cam Newton and offer some apologies. We are fools if we trade him anytime soon.

Apology for what exactly? The Panthers never once hinted at trading cam or anointing Allen, not even in the slightest.

In fact despite this bi polar message board I think the general consensus for the intelligent football fans realize the smartest move is seeing if he heals.

that is, if he’s willing to play on a one year deal

    • I had pretty much accepted that Bryce Young was never going to have a career here but this game legitimately gives me pause. He was really outstanding. We have 6 games left to see if it's a flash in the pan or true growth. It would certainly be better for the long term outlook of this team if he could pan out so we don't have to keep starting from scratch. I'm now keeping an open mind
    • It's not unreasonable but I would say the investment just doesn't matter anymore. To me, being #1 or Mr irrelevant shouldn't guarantee him a starting job next year. I will say the last few weeks have gone very far in changing my mind from "not sure I want him on the team at all" to "well poo, maybe he could win a starting job next year if he keeps improving."
    • someone who can stop the run would be nice. brown being out has made our run defense almost non-existent
