I'm not so sure about that.

If we beat the Falcons all that does is keep our slim hopes alive. For us to acutally have a shot at the playoffs we're going to have to win every game except for maybe 1 more loss for the rest of the season. Since all 4 of our loses we already have are all NFC loses thats really bad for wild card seeding.

We have to either hope the Saints go on a huge slide somehow or a variety of other NFC teams ahead of us in seeding also lose a number of games. Which is why we aren't mathematically eliminated yet. Even so our 4 NFC loses have taken a lot of the power out of our own hands and left much of our playoff fate to other teams even if we do win out or win all but 1 .

Like I've said. The Panthers for whatever reason are one of the few teams that actually has a winning record vs the Cheatriots.

They've probably made it impossible mathematically. You know, helping Rodgers into the end zone at a crucial moment in the game after he was legitimately sacked for a safety. Masters of momentum they are. Out coach that.

Of course if we got our rematch they'd be "favored" both in Vegas and by hostile officials, just like the last two times.

Panthers can't afford to come into tomorrow's game emotionally flat like they often do against teams that they are expected to beat.  Playing down to the competition's level will result in a loss.

You know the Falcons are now in spoiler mode.

yeah its one of the big reasons why ron is such a terrible coach..

    • btw, mingo supposed to play tonight.  we want Cowboys to lose for more than one reason, but they are imploding and their 4th round pick is ours. Rams started rough this year, we have their second rounder, and for a while it a in the top 10 picks.  they are going the opposite direction of the Cowboys.  I do think they have Kansas City after us, so that will help
    • You go after my guy with nonsense like "I don't see quickness or explosiveness" and "I haven't seen a lot of quickness or full route tree ability that we always ignore" Then yea, I'm gonna punch back. Like I've said, if people want to draft someone else, that's totally fine, everyone has their own opinions.  But if you're going to advocate against a specific player, don't talk complete nonsense about their game like this. Even more so, don't do that when you're saying I'm the one with a bias towards him. If I was afraid of it looking like a bias pick on my part, I'd never have said I was an Arizona alumni when arguing for him, but I've admitted it from the very beginning, because I don't think my Arizona connection gives me a bias, it just means I know his game REALLY well as I've seen every snap of his college career.  So yea, you start saying the knocks on him are things that he's actually really good at, then you're going to get an earful from me with some video evidence to back it up. In the end, for me, it all falls back to how rare a player like T-Mac can be due to his size.  The smaller speedier type of WRs are exactly who you can find in later rounds and who become available as Free Agents, I can't ever get on board with taking a Hunter (as a WR) or Burden over T-Mac if all were on the board, for that reason alone, and I'd say that if he was a freaking Sun Devil, no matter how much it would hurt me to admit if it if that were the case.
