NFC South Rivalry

I will say this about the NFC South which seems to often get overlooked in conversations about the most competitive divisions. What other division can say 3 of it's 4 teams have been to the Super Bowl in the past decade?

Falcons ended out undefeated season, can’t tell me saints or bucs are anywhere close to a rivalry

This game is a must for both coaches. If you can't win your division you've got no chance. Remember 15-1. Don't sleep. New Orleans did. This isn't just any team. This was a team built to beat YOU because of the 3 straight NFCS Championships in a row. Take this very seriously.

For everyone that thinks that Seatle is a rivalry. 

 

Rivalry has to go both ways, it's not just a team we like to beat.  We aren't even on Seattle fans radar

The Falcons without question are our biggest  rivals.I remember the league hyping these games (" The I-85 Rivalry "). Our first regular season game was in Atlanta at the old Georgia Dome, were despite getting our QB Frank Reich sacked 9 times we still almost pulled it off except a false start on one of our O linemen. BTW Fug the Failcant's.

I spent a lot of time as a young adult in GA around Falcon’s fans and always wondered if it was just bias to view the Falcons as our biggest rival. Glad others feel the same way.

I think being holdovers from NFC West and the fact that the division seems to rotate between the Saints, Falcons, and Panthers, those 3 teams and their fans hate each other equally.  No one cares about the Bucs

For me, it's the Saints, because I'm still salty about the Hornets relocation & Anthony Davis lottery. 

Saints & Falcons fans hate us, but not as much as they hate each other. 

Bucs are a non-factor. 

Bottom line, the only time we were ever someone's #1 rival was with the Jags. And that's been dead for a while.

I hate the saints more than any other team in professional sports.

Plus, they are the top dog in the division. fug them. In the ass. Sideways. With a hot fire iron.
