Helmet makes a difference.   Players take shot to the head comparable to the kick all game long.  Doesn’t make it right.  He deserves to be suspended for it.  But at least he is taking a shot and to an area he is equipped to deal with impact....Mason wasn’t. Hence the huge difference. 

If OBJ took the same shot at Norman when he had his helmet off it is a totally different incident.  Wouldn’t compare to the Norman bad the helmet on for 

Getting kicked in the head with cleates while not being able to protect your self is now the same is falling out of bed. Dude you really have a warped view.

but that is the kind of stuff that happens every week, and how often has it resulted in a player removing another player's helmet and using it as a weapon?

Rudolph had the fit because Garrett was giving the business. 

If Mason is a Panther taking that from Garrett at the end the entire huddle has a problem with the cheap shot guy once again going at a QB

I mean, he didnt throw any punches, but if you look at previous fights, it warrants a fine or 1 game. I am not saying he was wrong, but he did hold him to the ground... which is an act of unsportsmanlike conduct.

3 games is a long time for a suspension.  Pretty much half of what is left in the season gone. Reality is, Garrett's suspension will only be this year. He will be back next year for sure.  So his is "double" the time of Pouncey's.  Which seems fitting to me.

There is precedence for all the suspensions given.  There isn’t one for handing one to Mason

For attacking Garrett and then reigniting the fight. I guess being the cause of the whole this holds no bearing to you?

Sorry if I got mixed up between your posts and others,  but if you scroll up, there are people here arguing that Pouncey's punch and kicks were potentially as dangerous as swinging a helmet at a helmetless player... so that stuff is being said...

No it doesn't. Players don't try to remove each other's helmets every game. It's a shitty thing to do.

Garrett took one swing, which barely landed, but was despicable nonetheless. He should have been suspended.

So should Pouncey, the center, who came up punching and kicking someone being held down on the ground.

He held him down because he just assaulted someone with a object to the skull. 

Pouncey and that dude are two separate events.  Yeah, they ended up meshing together but at the absolute bare minimum Garrett had to be taken down like he was. 

and that is a fantasy land idea....there is no NFL came where a team is going to watch a DE violently rip a QBs helmet off and just watch and stay out of it

If it was so dangerous then why did Rudolph engage Garrett? Then throw his hands up? It was clear he got exactly what he wanted to get out of the situation.
