If anything, Pouncey should have been equally suspended indefinitely. He straight up went to town on Garrett WHEN HE WAS ALREADY SUBDUED AND ON THE GROUND.

I saw no intentional crotch kicks. I saw the mad flailings of someone who was about to bite off more than they could chew. If Garrett got caught in the nuts, okay maybe. But Rudolph clearly had his hand in Garrett's helmet first, and reinitiated the conflict once it was basically over and they had been separated.

Pouncey should get more of a punishment. Rudolph should get more. Garrett should get less.

Ogunjobi probably is the only one with a just punishment here.

One could argue with the force of the kick to the head, it could’ve potentially been just as damaging as getting hit with the helmet. Both Garrett and Pouncey should be done for the year.

If you can't see that all there actions required suspension then yes you are hugging on some Steelers nuts. Also if you can't see this is player targeting on the NFLs part your just blind.

Player targeting?  Garrett legit did something the NFL has *never* seen before. 

I won't ever agree Rudolph deserves a suspension because we don't suspend players for grabbing at other players helmets or shoving a leg into them, not when it is the first time they've done anything at all.  It was also part of an alteraction with another player.  If Garrett rips off Rudolph's helmet and walks away, he still gets suspended, but it is a far smaller fine.

It is the fact he used the helmet as a weapon that is the sticking point here.

Pouncey deserved a lengthy suspension and he received one.  3 games is a long as fug time.

The NFL outlines why each of the three players were suspended and frankly the logic is sound.

For better or worse, the NFL considers helmets to be protective equipment.  Garrett still had his helmet on.

I guarantee you that if Pouncey had ripped off Garrett's helmet then stomped on him he would be done for the year.

You've got to stop fixating on the helmet hit. It obviously wasn't as Earth-shatteringly devastating as you seem to imagine it was. Rudolph is fine physically, probably a little sore. Garrett should be suspended for it, because it was a fuged up thing to do. Pouncey should also be suspended for it, for an equal amount of time, because what he did was just as fuged up. You do realize how much greater force is exerted from a kick vs. a punch, right? They both tried to hurt another player, after the whistle, because they let their tempers get the best of them.

You're gonna have to call me blind then. I'm no fan of the league by a long shot, but on this their response doesn't look like player targeting to me. As always ymmv.
