Yeah, which is why it comical when dudes punch players wearing helmets....only thing they risk hurting is their own hands. 

and the reason football players wear helmets....is because strikes to your bear brains is super dangerous.  Super duper dangerous when super strong athletes are the ones getting a shot at the dome.

Oh I saw that the first time around, I'm just not sure why any impartial observer would equate reaching for the helmet/facemask of a guy refusing to get off of you after the play is over with swinging a helmet at someone's head as a weapon or consider it anything noteworthy or out of the ordinary in an on field scrap. From my point of view Rudolph's actions are he unsuccessfully attempts to take Myles Garrett's helmet off. That's it. 

In what way shape or form does that in and of itself merit any sort of severe punishment? Unquestionably the proper response by Garrett, even if you consider Rudolph's actions poor, would be to walk away. You just took a guy to the ground after he got rid of the ball. Perhaps an understandable mistake, but you know what? Once he's reaching for your helmet with both hands, you know what you can't claim anymore? That you think he had the ball. Yet Garret continues to drag Rudolph down and then retaliates by grabbing his facemask, yanking Rudolph around by it, taking the helmet off and then hitting him with it.

Which of these two actions is highly unusual, potentially criminal and risks serious injury to someone? Not Rudolph's. Hence the punishments as meted out.

Mason is taller than Garrett. He’s also only 30 to 40 lbs lighter. He’s not some damsel in distress

The only person in this situation who conducted themselves appropriately in this scene was Decastro, he's the only one who tried to deescalate the fight, Rudolph wanted smoke, Garrett was a bonehead, and Pouncey punched a dude with a helmet on and people think that's hero behavior lol

He probably tried to rip Garrett's helmet off bc he was in the backfield so much. Either way, he's not dead so I'll laugh at him for rushing a guy bigger than him and getting popped with his own helmet. It's weird folks can't see the hilarity in this situation.
