He strikes me as someone I don't know, so I don't have any way to know how he acts in private or what his playbook consists of. Everything else is just conjecture & hearsay. And honestly, I couldn't care less how he reacted. All that matters is how he reacts with personnel changes once the season's done.

You can bet the farm he had a discussion after the Pittsburgh game last year to not let something like this happen again...so when it happened this year I'm sure it wasn't pretty.

He's a fair person and treats lower level employees extremely well. 

The people who are at risk are those in which he has vested a lot of power, and compensated highly. 

Those folks are also treated fairly but if they make avoidable mistakes with any frequency there will be a price to pay.  Make the same avoidable mistake more than once, not going to be a pretty scene.

If he hammered on Rivera about something, Ron earned it.

Now, if you are on the other side of the table from him in a high-stakes negotiation he will (a) take advantage of your weaknesses, and (b) won't hesitate to batter you with his intellect and embarrass you. 

I feel sorry for anyone from Cam's camp who might be foolish enough to try to play hardball with David Tepper.  (and Tepper never forgets)
