  You nailed it. I told my family back in Pittsburgh when they asked what our new QB was like. Just told them he was the same as they had. A backup at best. 
 

    At least we didn’t use a 3rd round pick on him. But we did on his backup.

Cause he was bad in the preseason and the Panthers until Sunday were still in playoff hunt.  Unless they can pull off a miracle we can finish 8 and 8 with a 500 record which would not be great but at least we didn't have a losing season. We are right in the middle of the pack again when we draft.  I guess if you want to blow off the season and go for selection it would be the time to do it so you can finish 5-11 or 6-10.

Kyle Allen was dog poo in the preseason as well...

Last year Heinicke and Allen seemed to be getting equal opportunities until injuries happened. I don't see what the difference is now.
