True. That was a 10 point swing in their favor. That was a definitely game changer.

Big swing . And it was just a bad decision in multiple ways . Even if he didn’t see the safety the corner was gonna pick it but it went Thru the corner hands and the safety got the easy pick

Slant and digs is all we run with him . I put it more on norv basic offense than taking a shot at his route running ability like some other posters may assume

It’s defiantly Norv.  Norv got criticized back in his Dallas days for the same junk.  I’ve posted some old articles from the 90s before about his repetitive slant routines.

I wasn’t knocking Moore. Too many people are lumping him and Samuel together.  He is simply a better WR.  More aggressive in his routes and runs them better. 89 IMO was largely blasting Samuel IMO and just lumped them all together after SF.

Norv needs to scheme up some better opportunities for Moore

You just have to chalk it up to inexperience which is inevitable with essentially a rookie based on game experience. A big reason I don't like rookies starting at any position over a seasoned vet. Too many mistakes. Unfortunately the only way to get game experience is in the game. You just lower your expectations and move on. It sucks but that is what happens.

That predictable slant route is something Norv has overused since the 90s.  It isn’t a Moore concern.  It is a Norv concern.

It does remind me that last year, it felt like Moore was more effective on gimmick plays then he was actual passes.

With regard to Samuel though, the thing I always try to remember with him is that he's only been a full-time wide receiver since turning pro.

I knew norv wasn’t the answer the way the Vikings got way better soon as he left . Like literally became a consistent playoff team soon as he left lol . But he and Ron will most likely be gone soon so it is what it is . Dj will be a great number 2 but if he turn into a number one I’ll be all for it . And we only took Samuel cause of his speed and versatility remember the year before where we had none of the above lol but man we could’ve had JuJu smh

matt paradis is low key one of the most disappointing free agent signings in team history

Really? I honestly never did expect much from him, teams dont let good Centers walk, they just dont.

If Ryan Kalil played in a bigger market, like Dallas or NYG, he's a HoF. but since it took him years to just get recognized he never will be. Just like when Gross left, gonna be a while before someone fills those shoes competently, we are still trying to fill Gross's

Has anyone else felt Luke's play has fallen off this year? Maybe it's the defensive line's lack of gap disciple but he seems less able to shed blocks than years passed.

Hes dirty on way too many plays, we are lacking that big 1 tech that keeps the extra lineman from getting to luke. One reason shaqs tackle ststs are so good not to take away from him.
