So you are comparing the last season we had a healthy QB to two seasons of not having a QB?

Clever, and completely silly.

The biggest issue isn't even a healthy qb or lack thereof, frankly.

It's been that his defensive scheme has been figured out and he hasn't adapted to it.

As Scot's pointed out, he doesn't appear to have a clue how to defend the zone running scheme by Shanahan and the Packers, and this year's run d is laughable.

He had his run and ever since 2015 the bloom has been off the rose of his era here.

I don't have anything against him as a person, but I don't think he's a championship level coach.

He, like Fox, is the guy to resurrect a franchise.

He's not the guy to get you a championship.

After today's game, I am pretty much convinced that Rivera (and possibly Hurney) will be without jobs come season end.

That said,  I am starting to like Greg Roman a lot after the development of Lamar Jackson and how well the Ravens are playing now. I also still like Kris Richard on the defensive side or sticking to the Ravens coaching staff, Don Martindale could be an interesting choice.

Hell, it would not surprise me one bit if the Panthers try to get some one off of the Bills coaching staff because of the heavy Panthers connection going.

Only person I'd want from the Bills organization is Dan Morgan. He should be #1 on the list for GM if Hurney is canned

Can you understand him? I swear if you put bibbed overalls on Ed Orgeron, you would have Farmer Fran. There would be some really interesting press conference, go Panthers.

Coach O is carried by having great coordinators and letting them do their jobs. Not saying he couldn’t do a similar thing in the pros but hard pass from me.

If Rivera is such an average coach, then name the 14-18 better coaches than him, i'll wait.

I am a little baffled that someone is defending him.  Average is never having back to back winning seasons.  He's 76-61-1.  Seems to me without the Cam-led outlier season of 2015, then you have the definition of average.

Are you a newer fan to the organization?

He has a 55% win rate and that's even with the benefit of a 15-1 season in there. 43% win rate in the playoffs. Playoff appearances in half of his seasons. That's pretty much the definition of "average" as an NFL head coach.
