It’s all about COACHING in the NFL. Thomas was pretty much considered a bust last year. Sf was looking to trade Arik Armstead the last two years. Shanahan got there and found the guy to coach that group up. I don’t give a damn about the players. All 32 teams have enough talents to win the SB. The missing piece is the friggn HEAD COACH.

Amen. Imagine a competent coach with Odell Beckham, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, Kareem Hunt, and Baker Mayfield at their disposal. I would argue an elite HC is more valuable than an elite QB.

I feel like the 49ers are what Ron has always envisioned us to be. Ball control running offense with a dominant defense. He's just not good enough to implement it correctly
