I like Kyle, but his throws to the outside don’t have a lot of zip on them and he seems to consistently underthrow the deep ball. Makes me worry he doesn’t have elite arm talent. Can he win without that? Sure. But fitting passes into smaller windows get a LOT harder if that’s the case.

Does that mean we should give up on him? Of course not

All he need to do is put up 16 points right and we should go undefeated . Isn’t that how it works.  ?

That has a lot to do with the fact that I really don't see us making the playoffs.

If we are out of the playoff hunt by week 16, would you put Grier in just to see how he does in real game play?

Only if I felt I had seen all I needed to see of Kyle Allen.

Unfortunately due to not having a QB, we are already out of the playoff hunt.

Not technically yet we're not, but it doesn't look good.

That's a tough decision. You'd like to see how Grier looks in an actual game, but any game time that Allen gets this year is still vital to his development.
