Jake had a good day... for Jake... which is all we can really ask for. Without the amazing play by Double Trouble and the defense, it wouldn't have been enough... but it was, and good for Jake and this team... they wanted this game, and they got it.

I felt good to see Jake get a TD pass in this game and no turnovers. I hope his injury isn't severe... If this can bring him back to where he was a couple years ago, I'd be stoked. It was good to see him and Smitty hook up, I just wish it could have happened more often than it did!

majority of that was one play. Take away the one Smitty catch of 50 yards (which was mostly done after catch)

and Jake was

6/13 for 40 yards.....not an impressive performance. Not bad. It was what we needed. But based on what he has done this year and the little he did today...there should be no confidence gained in the QB play in Carolina.
