Who are the current mods anyway? @LinvilleGorge seems like he actually wants to do it and would probably do a good job.

I'm ok with the current mods tbh. I think they have done well for the most part.  Everything just kinda came to a head when Cam got injured.  Everyone cam out the woodwork and feels were involved.  Can't ban everyone.

@ncfan Would be another one I would suggest. He is pretty consistently able to stay on topic in sports discussions, IMO. Maybe @ellis? He seems very level headed.

It's not so much a problem with the current mods as there not being enough of them.

Igo is looking to add more.

at one point if a member got enough neg rep they got the ban.  the rep wars were epic!!

Yeah, I don't think mob rule will work. It will be abused like everything else.

As I understand it, there were two arguments against that.

One, new people got neg repped out way too quickly.

Two, some used it to try and bully people that they didn't like off the board.

I'd add that it also got used against some opposing fan members who, while they could be annoying sometimes, were actually fairly reasonable people.

He was just voicing his frustration with the current state of the board and the incessant Cam vs. Kyle threads. Let's be honest, we all get tired of it because it draws out a lot of the trolls we are attempting to get rid of.
