I see it happening for a 2nd and potentially another player.

One thing people need to realize is that he might be worth a 1st in your heart, but there are roughly 4 1st round caliber QB's in the upcoming draft and Cam is significantly older with way more mileage than them. He hasn't been healthy in 4 years, and will need to be extended after the trade. Would you trade a 1st rounder for that kind of uncertainty?

There is also a difference between the success of a vet QB and a rookie QB. A team can win more with Cam than a rookie

Tepper ain't Richardson- he's not going to let Hurney or any other GM give Cam away for nothing

Tepper didn’t draft Cam either and at this point Tepper hasn’t shown that he is capable of running a NFL team
