Do you know what thread you're in? You're in yet another thread calling Allen "great", "incredible", "the future" after the type of performance he put up today.

He actually put in a pretty good performance today overall, even with the mistakes.

I know everybody wants to come in after every game and declare one extreme or the other, but it's stupid.

He threw it away on 3rd down to avoid a sack knowing they had another play on 4th. They ran the ball on 4th (which I can understand giving that CMC is our best player) taking the final outcome out of Kyle’s hands. He drove them down the field to the 3 yard line with DWill blocking and Moton playing LT. Imagine him (or Cam for that matter) with a solid offensive line.

Anyone saying that when he praised Newton would have been dumb.

It's dumb now too.

Of course. But again. What else did anyone expect Olsen to say after a loss? He's being a GOOD teammate like he is supposed to. These guys like each other and grind together win or lose. That's team sports.

When Greg complimented Cam the prevailing notion was he was only towing the company line.

Did someone expect him to say Kyle lost us the game?

First anyone saying Greg was just towing the company line was full of poo.

He didn't need to offer the praise he did of Kyle.  The last drive was gutsy... it just wasn't enough.

Yep to drive down the field like that in GB (vs a 7-2 Packers team) in the snow was impressive as hell. The INT was terrible as was the fumble (haven’t re-watched to see if it was on Paradis or Kyle, but at the very least he should’ve been able to recover it) but yeah the upside is clearly there. Unless there’s a QB the new coaching staff falls in love with in the draft, I’m completely comfortable with Kyle on an extremely cheap ERFA deal next year, use he money freed up from Cam to front load Bradberry and Shaq’s deals and lock them up long term.

I think if he becomes our QB next season it will start to click.
