lol that hype train didn't work out but it was fun while it was happening.  Dude played his ass off and was a blast to watch in 2009.

Damn that poo was pretty much exactly 10 years ago huh... If Tepper decides to keep Ron with Allen as QB I can see next year being a 2010 repeat.

I stick by what I’ve been saying all along, he needs development, it does not help any qb with Rivera at the helm, since our team always seems to lack a sense of urgency in big games lately.

healthy Cam is still the best option, But kyle could very well be the future down the road if he’s develop correctly

Healthy Cam with injury issues that might come up, or Kyle Allen with nearly 20mil in cap space saved. Hmmmmmm

Some of you don’t even realize what you have in Allen. He is essentially a rookie with what 8 games under his belt.  Each game out he sees defensive game plans that are designed for Christian to be contained.  And For that unproven QB to prove he can beat a defense!

There is no doubt Allen has worked on his Fumbling tendencies While under duress. And let’s be honest.... whoever lines up under center for the 2019 panthers offense is nearly a sacrificial lamb. This line is a good drive blocking group but pass protection is damn near a train wreck.

so Allen had a careless fumble during the exchange.   Got it!

and he sees an open WR but  did not  locate their lurking safety. GOT IT x 2!

now the reality is I can’t count how many times under relentless defensive pressure he made the right decision in second half. And for me, how many times that personally avoided sacks with his feet and more importantly throwing the ball away.

the game is slowing down for young Kyle and much like his fumble miscues, he is making noticeably improved progression reads.  And all the while playing behind the same porous pass protection.

As for me, I want to see him connect deep!  It’s an area of his game that has little data (good or bad).  The other parts of his game I have seen week to week, he is no different than any other NFL QB. Collapse the pocket from the inside and every QB is paralyzed.

and while I will not begin to tout him as our franchise QB...  I see potential, i see a competitor and I am glad he is at the helm in Cam’s absence. If that parlays into Cam’s exodus.... just know that will not be the first time it’s happened and it will not be the last.

really goes to show the agenda some on this board have when allen gets praise for losing a road game in which he threw an interception in the red zone, lost a fumble, and almost threw 2 more interceptions on the final drive.

apparently now the OL and WRs are a good excuse despite our OL and receiving core being significantly worse in previous years than it currently is.

Injury issues can pop anytime, looking at fa and the cap we will have anyway, it’s smart to see if there’s anymore juice in cam before handing kyle the keys.

good news is will have a good idea of his health before fa starts, but there’s just to big of a difference in healthy cam and healthy kyle currently

God this is ridiculous. Yes on the receivers but this line is as bad as any we have had. It would be bad for any QB.

I believe Newton would have folded during that last drive with the piss poor Oline. This is where Allen is head and shoulders above Cam, he has the mental makeup you want from a franchise QB. He is far from perfect, but he's 23 and Cam is not coming back.

This is why some of us are so defensive of Cam, because yall say poo like this and 100% believe it.
