Final play is the exact reason you don't trade Cam Newton

Stop basing your whole idea of Cam off a moment in time we all knew his shoulder was shot. That is obviously not Cam you saw vs Detroit.

That's the problem. His shoulder is shot. It's never going be 100% again.  The sooner you accept that 2015 Cam isn't coming back the easier the transition will be for you.

Cam playing on injuried foot that we are now learning should have had season ending surgery then but gutted it out for the team. That's what your basing this off of? Lol. No man. Just no.no way Cam any version not on one foot gets stopped 5 or so times at like the 3 yard line.

How about that playoff game against the Niners in '13? Dude,  I love Cam to death but he's not infallible.

You dont know his shoulder is shot. Nobody does. His arm didn't look shot throwing the football in training camp or the earlier games in the season just his foot. If he can look anything like early 2018 you have see that before letting him go I believe. This this Kyle allen thing isn't gonna win us any tough games.

People in the know have pretty much stated that it's shot. It's arthritic.

Cam isn't here right now.

There is no guarantee Cam will ever be the same (sidenote: Can I just state how I love how the huddle used to hate Hurney for throwing out contacts based on past performances and not based on future potential, but also now are saying what Cam did in 2017/18 like we know for sure he's ever gonna go back to that.)

Cam is amazing and I love him. He will not be the first talented athlete of MVP caliber a team has moved on from due to durability concerns. I want him to come back, preferably in Black and Blue, but this is a business and teams are gonna move on.

This thread is entirely pointless because we're saying Cam should be here because he can do one thing extremely well that Kyle can't (and, yes, i know Cam can do many other things, much, much, MUCH better than Kyle, but we're beating this drum because of the one yard line situation.)

I agree with most of what you said I'm not saying cam should be here because he shouldn't. He's injured. My arguement was purely at should he be the starter if healthy or potentially next season.
