This was a frustrating game, but it came down to the end with a 2 or 3 seed in the NFC and we showed fight despite bad coaching decisions and bad officiating. Allen is really good also. I have hope.

Yep. This is the frustrating thing. Not sucking isn't the goal and routinely mediocre is about the worst thing you can be.

We’re good enough to beat bad teams and not good enough to beat the better teams...

that means we miss the playoffs again and will probably have the same staff next year

2.5 decades without consecutive winning seasons... when will it end

Yep. We haven't beaten a really good team in a LONG time. There are no moral victories here, we still lost, our playoff chances are gone, and another long offseason is upon us. We have not proven we can compete with the big dogs since 2015. You're either a playoff contender or you're not. No in between.
