I've seen enough...Leave Martin as starter.

I thought it was great seeing Martin come out of the side of the t.v. screen after the pass what thrown and it seemed like he knew exactly where he needed to be to get that ball. I mean for the 1st INT he was not going for the tackle or the strip he was a few feet behind the intended receiver because he knew well before most of us that he needed to be behind them to get the overthrow. Fox would have to be mentally challenged to put Godfrey back in that spot.

At the very least, I think Martin deserves another start, to see if it was a fluke performance. If he continues to play well then that's good for the team and bad luck for Godfrey. After all, Godfrey has continually been the weakest link in the secondary, and that includes when Teal filled in for Harris.

Oh, and to the guy who said an int doesn't prove anything, are you serious? It proves that he gets in position to make plays and that he is capable of capitalizing when opportunities present themselves.

Martin seemed to know what he was doing and most importantly where he needed to be.

That is the biggest difference between Martin and Godfrey. Though Godfrey is faster (I think) Martin's experience at the position and seeming ability to position himself carefully and intelligently were great assets yesterday. It allowed him to get picks and to limit deep plays.

The guy plain looked like a Superstar safety out there...Didnt notice him out of position at all. Was flying to the ball, and made a great stop on run by Hightower that stood out to me. Guy was a beast today, thats all you could say, besides i never want to see Godfrey again!

Yeah, I remember that hit on Hightower. I thought it was Harris for a second. :D

He also made a stop on Boldin early in the game and he was also the one that knocked the ball away from Fitzgerald that was almost a fumble. This kid did WAY more than just intercept two passes which would have been enough for me to say start him again. He tackled well, he was always in the right position to make a play. I thought the secondary played outstanding this week and it was a full defensive effort. Charles Johnson tipping passes, Peppers rushing Warner, Beason and Davis making plays, that was what we all expected from this team on defense. Had the offense made a few more plays in the passing game this would have been an absolute blowout!!!

Martin should stay in at FS, let's try Godfrey at nickelback and see how he does?

Martin appears to be the ball-hawking playmaker that we've been waiting for Godfrey to turn into. Godfrey has looked lost this year and at best he is a non-factor. Martin has done more as a Panther in one game then Godfrey has done in 1.5 seasons worth of games.
