HYPOTHETICAL Cam Trades Thread

I do wonder what Brandon Beane thinks of him and where they think Josh Allen can take the Bills.

Everyone is saying the Chargers and Bears but I don't really see either happening.  Steelers could be interesting haha.  That is with Big Ben retiring which is being rumored.

I had that thought on the Bills. They'd really have to be pulling the pin on Allen, who is pretty cheap at the moment. Not sure I could see that.

The Chargers I guess I could see since Rivers deal is over. That would be a good fit. The Bears I don't know. They seem to be sold on Trubisky for some reason, although everyone else can see he is awful.

The Steelers would be interesting but they would have a huge cap hit($25 mil) if they cut Big Ben. So, at that rate if they even wanted to, they'd have to find a trade partner that wanted a 37 year old QB coming off of elbow surgery. Not likely to happen.

When you're looking at potential destinations, you have to consider the system.

Everybody talks about Chicago, but Chicago is running an Andy Reid style West Coast Offense. Is that really the best fit?

Plus Chicago doesn’t have the picks.  They went all in on Mack.

I'm saying Big Ben retires.  They'll spread his dead money over a few seasons like the Boys did with Romo.

Tepper could pull the reverse Richardson.  Instead of trying to emulate the Steelers, he turns the Steelers into the Panthers haha.

LOL. That would be pretty funny at some level.

I don't see Big Ben retiring though. He only has to play next year to collect the rest of his giant contract. I couldn't see him walking away without giving that new elbow a shot first.

Been a Panthers fan my whole life but I'm going where he's going.

Not sure you can say you are a Panthers fan if you leave with a player. Steve Smith and Julius Peppers were my all-time favorite Panthers but I was a Panthers fan first and foremost. It wouldn't be players leaving that would drive me away. The only scenario I could see doing that is horrifying ownership like the Bengals, Redskins, etc. Just a situation where you know that there is legitimately zero hope.
