Might as well just leave at halftime - Refs won't let us win no matter what we do. I'd rather the NFL lose out on money, even if it is only $5

There is a reason that the only NFL games I watch any significant part of are Panther games.  I came to this same conclusion a couple of years ago.

The NFL is to blame on this stuff.  When they started treating QBs like china dolls, they allegedly told referees they would be disciplined if they did not make a call that turned out to be warranted.  That is exactly contrary to how you want officials to look at plays....assuming something is a penalty/foul until absolutely proven otherwise.  That gets us this kind of nonsense, and all the other phantom calls over the years.

For me, the end result is I started watching more NHL games sooner in the season. 

If the Keystone Kops are running the instant replay (and they usually are), that TD will stand....even though it is pretty clearly not a catch.
