Besides Funchess whom I didnt think deserved a contract, the rest were solid players. Could be system fits... I dont think those guys just stoped playing good football they just arent in the right situation.

I hope the bills didn't sign Star thinking he was going to be anything but a space eater, that's what he has always been.  Sounds to me like he has earned his contract

I think Beane and McD knew exactly what they were getting. Star doesnt do anything that comes up on the stat sheet but he kept KK from getting double teamed and kept guards from getting on Luke and TD to allow them to play down hill. I know correlation isnt causation but our run defense has been pathetic ever since he left

Watching Star, it always seemed like his best games as an NFL linemen were in his rookie year(That and Cardinals 2018).  Went from monster to space eater.

Star is a space eater and block occupier. 

Look at the Panthers' defensive rankings while he was here vs. after, then do the same for the Bills. That's where Star's value shows up
