As to the whole 'team didn't fly him to Green Bay' thing.  I think Mario Addison was using the team plane for his funeral stuff this weekend.  Could be wrong.

It's actually better for him to sit out right now than it would be to play and look bad.

He returned from shoulder surgery excited to get back to form only to suffer a season ending fluke foot injury during preseason. 

There's a chance he does, but I doubt it. The trip to Green Bay was likely for mental Beth assurances and general peace of mind. 

If his foot heals and every piece of information available suggests it will he will return to the NFL next season as the starting QB here or somewhere else.

I think it depends on whether he’s being told the foot will fully heal and he would be able to do the things he’s known for doing. Cam doesn’t want to leave the game like this.

He's on IR and cannot play right now....and I was not suggesting he should be playing now.

My point is the absence of coming back next year and showing he can still play there will be no trade offers or extension offers.  At this point he is on a 1-year make-good deal....let's hope he gets the noggin squared away and makes good.

THIS!! If Cam TRULY wants a ring,  this organization gives him the best chance for that, he sure as hell isn't going to New England. I agree with you 100%, I think this team from top to bottom is loaded with talented players. I would wager that there are a ton of coaches that would LOVE to take over this team with this roster.
