If all indications that Cam has played his last game with the Panthers, he should be honored during a halftime celebration at the last game of the season.

I really hope that Cam does not go the way of Andrew Luck, and get booed off the field in his last game as a Panther. That Tampa game was miserable for a guy who has delivered so many good memories to Panthers fans over the years. He's the best QB in franchise history and has not only team records, but some NFL records that might not be broken for a long time.

I hope he gets the sendoff he deserves.

I'm so sick of these threads. I don't understand where everyone is getting this crap that Cam is done with the Panthers. There has literally been no reason given to believe that. He is the face of the franchise and the city. He is one of the most marketable athletes in the world. Players get IRed. It happens. He will be back and better than ever and I'm ready for these threads to be a thing of the past.

Don’t know when it ends for him

Whenever it does...he should go down as the most beloved Panther of all time.  Somehow 89 owns that presently.  But combining play and behavior? Cam should own that with ease.  Still think Luke probably is the best actual football player drafted by us (just doesn’t play as impactful of a position as Cam/89/Pep).

No player has overall been as enjoyable.

    • He's turned into quite a gunslinger
    • Hey guys, remember when we won those meaningless games in 2010 and it cost us the #1 pick and the chance to draft Cam? Oh.... right I get that's more of an extreme example because it got us a HOF caliber QB.  But it's the general concept, you want to win late season games when you have the pieces in place to make a run the next season, we currently are not in that place. Herbert and Sewell are the ones I point to so much, because we literally lost out on 2 franchise different makers by 1 draft slot.  Give us those two players while we still have CMC, Moore, and the rest of the picks we gave up for Bryce, and we'd have been a legit playoff contender the last few years. Draft position matters in the NFL more than any other sport (other than the #1 pick in the NBA in a year with a generational talent).
    • It’s so crazy. If we had a shot for pick 1 and there was some generational player there then yeah maybe I could get behind the draft position argument. I’d say most GMs and coaches aren’t diving into the draft right now. They are trying to win games.
