Greg Olsen's Future

How about we quit worrying about the end of the year and pay attention to the current season where we're having a winning season so far and have our toughest games ahead of us.

Some of you were already pining for the season's end back before week one so you could see a staff change and have your personal feathers stroked. Why don't ya have a seat, shut up and watch some football?

Eight games left and we're still in the hunt and have won five out of our last six, without Cam, without KK and a host of injuries. poo, you guys must have been a real drag back in 2003.

It ain't always gonna be 2015, sometimes it takes toughing it out.

This is a weird take, but I feel I need to respond.

During the games I'm 100% interested in what the team is doing at that very moment, when on this message board I'm much more focused on the future, rather than the game that just happened....that's just my personality.

This team has not proven to be a consistent winner, in fact, they have proven to be the exact opposite of a consistent winner, and that's literally the 1 thing that I wish for more than anything else.

In other words, during the week, I worry about the Panthers future, on Sundays I'm just there for the fun....and sometimes not so fun distractions.

Why was it a blunder? Pretty important to have him this year. Seems his presence is crucial

At the time it wasn't the smartest option extending him after he broke his foot the first time. People argued that you'd want to see how that foot is before extending him while others were on the train " he's never been injured before give him what he wants"

Subsequently the first game after his extension he does the thing people were nervous about against Dallas. I love Greg and he's bounced back nicely to this point and he's gonna be vital down the stretch but if the worst case would have happened last season with that foot(it kinda did) then the guy who said extending him was a blunder would've been correct if his foot injuries last season would've hindered this season.
