Sometimes you underlings who(I get it are happy for the effort put in on building & maintaining this website) greatly overstate Igo's access to the team.  Things seem to be a little different with Tepper and there is no denying that fact.  There are far less pictures and none of the extra curricular content like radio shows or player interviews.  I get that the man's life may have changed, but let's quit acting like he has ever had on the staff in the building everyday type access.  His is an opinion like ours.  Joe Person was viewed as the worst journalist ever up until people needed him in the Cam may have played his last down thread.  It is all speculation  Teams wait on franchise quarterbacks Luck, Rodgers, & Wentz to get healthy and the Panthers are no different.

You can put all your eggs in the basket of discrediting Igo if you want, but he's far from the only person saying this.

Honestly at this point, I think there are probably more people saying this then there are people not saying it. And you can't just say that all of them have no sources.

There are a LOT of different ways this thing could go, but Cam suiting up for the Panthers is one of the least likely that I can wrap my head around currently.

If you remove everything but what fans want....sure, he is here.  However we are dealing with a lot of moving pieces here, and this is an outcome that lot's of us have been keeping an eye on for a while.

New GM, new coach, expiring contract, new CBA coming, Cam not being able to get or stay healthy, losing streak, fan apathy, Cam's feelings toward the team, etc....

This is going to be a bumpy next year or so.

Most likely scenario is letting him prove he’s worth the next contract on a friendly QB deal next year. $20mm for a QB is incredibly valuable in today’s landscape. The team would be stupid to turn that down for an unproven QB. This isn’t an “emotion” thing. It’s a rational business decision. The team doesn’t like like the bad guy running out Cam for the next boom or bust player if Cam comes out looking bad. The most likely scenario would be us playing Cam next year, if he sucks, we start KA again, and move on in 2021

I'm not trying to discredit Igo, but telling the truth.  I think that it is bogus to get on here and speculate like you have insider knowledge you don't have.  Isn't that what everyone here does when someone is trying to sell their take? What are your sources, where did you hear that, and what do you know?  You have yet to produce more than a couple of this "more people saying it" sources yourself.  Schefter and guys like that consistently put out wrong information, because it gets clicks and views.  That is no different here, so stop acting like it is man.  Schefter put out before 2018 campaign that Brady was done.  Seems pretty ridiculous now doesn't it?

I am angry because all of these pundits have been saying we should get rid of Cam, while on the other side of their neck saying how good he would be for these other teams.  Probably, no one knows what is going to happen now, but I bet that the Panthers bring back their franchise QB.  Literally everyone does it this way and you heard of Marty Hurney right.  The same one that gave Jake the huge contract after Tommy John surgery seemingly wouldn't get rid of a franchise QB under contract would he?  I don't think so, but it is personal speculation.  Just like everyone else right now that doesn't work for the organization.

I wouldn't bet my money on that with how Kyle Allen is playing. This means Newton will not have had played meaningful football in over two years. Each year he has worn down faster.

Dude, you quoted Joe Person.  And these league wide NFL insiders have always been wrong more than right when giving "insider" information.  I gave you an example in the last post. I'll discuss speculation, but we won't know this for sure until next spring or fall.  So for now, people saying Cam is already on the way out is baseless.  I guess I'm just disappointed that you are just so quick to swallow this up like a Newb.

If Cam cannot get back to his MVP season form (running mainly) he will be gone. He is not a good QB when you take away his most important skill.
