Likely won't see Cam in a Panthers uni again

The estrogen is running a bit high in here today.

So Cam leaving or retiring is going to happen someday and if Luke gets another bump on the head, then he is riding off into the sunset too.

You guys get into the games for free?  Oh, its a business?  For your entertainment?

How do you like paying through the teeth for 8-8 on average?

Whether or not Cam wants to leave or is sent away because the team no longer wants him is something for discussion but please, act like you don't think your favorite players are here forever.

I said the other day that outside of CMC and 2 cornerbacks, everyone could be shown the door.

I will pull for whatever wins games, I will rage when management spends tons on Double Trouble when its a passing league, or signs Jake to way too much money near the end of his career.  They love to sell jerseys and you can always buy one for your new crush.

When Cam and Luke are gone, most kids will have no idea who else plays for the Panthers.

You guys have a beer and quit showing your azzes

Had to stop reading here because 100% Burns isn't going anywhere as is the same for DJ. Few others probably are safe but you get the point.

Because the next coach will just draft any player no matter the scheme they run?  Yes, if you are Rivera, just draft a 34 OLB because he is quick and decide you will run a 34, a 43 and several variations.  Makes for a great defense and puts you near the bottom 3rd in the league in total defense.  2nd string guys like the one we faced this past weekend throws for 330.  Yes, I think that until we decide if coaching is important and drafting is important, then part time guys are hard for me to nail down

No matter who the next coach is he's not cutting or trading a productive last year first round pick.

Kerry Collins is miles better than anyone on our roster currently. If Igo is right I hope we can trade Cam, and draft someone this off-season or next.

Kyle Allen is only going to get more exposed by the week. He just doesn't do anything good, let alone great.

Seems the coaches feel differently about Allen and saying Collins was better is one persons take.  Personally he was less than Jake in my opinion.

Will miss Cam but time to move on...we need to look QB in round one without question and I have been saying this for two years now.  Have to find our next franchise guy.

Have to say...the fall since that Denver season opener has been staggering...it happens fast.

BTW...really need to try to get something for him and should have before now.

I'd put this down to Igo and pot stirring if Zack @RoaringRiot hadn't posted almost the exact same thing on Twitter.

Jeremy and beat writers do have an agenda to drive clicks, but for Zack who's close to Cam to say this was REALLY sobering.

My heart hurts.

What did he post?

All I see is a retweet from your standard run of the mill article from Klein which is all speculation.

Yeah, no.

Statistically speaking it's going to take 3 first round picks for us to find a quarterback. I'll find the article that details this. It's very unlikely we find one in the next 2 years, though in 3 it's possible. Some teams go decades.

Some teams go decades? Wtf are you talking about? Decades is 20+ years...are you pointing your finger at the Browns or something? What exactly your definition of a ‘quarterback’ because it sounds like you’re just talking about superstar elite QBs. That isn’t how it works in the NFL and you’re not being realistic.

We’re not moving on from that it’s not 2015. Cam can’t play forever you’re acting like they should just cling onto cam for fear of their own incompetence finding a new qb.

Looking at successful franchises with competent FOs it may take a couple years to find success but it certainley doesn’t take decades. It’s better to learn from the Jake scenario and not drag this out when the Panthers could start searching now. This cant be avoided, it is inevitable and it won’t take decades.

A competent FO that knows how to build around a QB does not need a generational talent. The Panthers have not been thy organization but you can find a ton of examples around the league.
