He wasn't "awful" last year. He was more average than awful. This year wasn't good. He was dropping balls right and left. In his defense though, he did have a finger injury. I'm going to withhold judgement. If he can fulfill a role that displaces Wright, I'll be satisfied.

He had over 600 yards in Jax in 2018 and nearly 50 catches.

This is a great signing--a solid #3 or #4 WR.  He is 26.

About the drops---we have had Lafell, Ginn, Funchess, and Benjamin.  Allen throws an easier ball to catch than Cam, so we might be OK.

Oh, and about the Josh Gordon crowd who are bewildered by our lack of interest---there is not room in the locker room for baggage like that.  He was probably never on our list--and that applies to a lot of other teams as well.
