Allen is a game manager

if thats what Rivera wants in his QB then so be it but Allen isnt going to go out of his way to put the team on his back and win a game for you

On this team a game manager equals wins.

Replace that with Baker....it doesn’t equal more or equal wins.   Baker adds more risk and reward.  More risk IMO

Here is the 2018 list.  Allen would rank right up there.  And we didn’t have to waste a first round pick on him.  That’s a good return on investment.  Would he be the top? No. But better than a good portion of those guys.

Sam Darnold, USC. 6-foot-3 3/8, 221 pounds. ...

Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma. 6-0 3/4, 216 pounds. ...

Josh Allen, Wyoming. 6-4 7/8, 237 pounds. ...

Lamar Jackson, Louisville. 6-2 1/4, 216 pounds. ...

Josh Rosen, UCLA. 6-4, 226 pounds. ...

Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State. 6-4 1/8, 229 pounds. ...

Luke Falk, Washington State. ...

Mike White, Western Kentucky.

KA by a long stretch. Baker refuses to even look in OBJs ways

Good tbh. It's not a fit.

OBJ is a damn good WR, good body control and can really nail some tough catches.

He's not a fit for the type of offense you'd want Baker to run. There's a reason Landry has out preformed him this season.

Like I said depends on the team I got.  You running the Chiefs? Alex Smith all day.  Baker Mayfield is going to get in the teams way of winning.  Winning is more important than bragging about who has the more talented QB

Baker with Andy Reid lol

Alex Smith would get traded again with the same scenario.

Like I said Dalton won 52 games, nobody in their right mind thinks Dalton is responsible for the majority of those wins

QBs that can come in and transform your offense are rare. Rodgers, Manning, Cam, Mahomes, Brees, are a few of the QBs that you can truly build around with almost any type of Offense.

Then you have the top level Elite game managers, ones that have limitations you definitely have to build around but are still damn good QBs. Ryan, Prime Eli and Flacco, hell even Brady was this most of his carrer. These are guys that will stick with the gameplan but are smart and aware enough to win you games.

Neither Kyle nor Baker fit into either of these catagories yet. This is a really dumb argument.

Kyle would struggle in Cle with the mishmash offense they have. There's no reason with Chub (and Hunt returning soon) to not be a West Coast, Power Run offense. Except for the big bucks they're paying OBJ lol. A big armed, vertical focused QB on the other hand who's good in the deep to intermediate area would be great for the system they keep trying to fit Baker in.

Well if Baker were to get cut or traded and we had him after he’s been humbled then of course Baker Mayfield.

right now today Kyle Allen. Kyle has all the heart and everything to play for.

Baker today is like an entitled child that needs to be spanked.
