How do we do in cold weather games? Temp at kickoff on Sunday supposed to be 30 with a 10% chance of snow

I mean, ok, yea, that's cold . . . but it's not really "frozen tundra" cold.  We are an outdoor team.  There's a fair chance we'll play at least one home game this year in similar temperature conditions.  So I guess it doesn't really concern me too much.

Agree w/ this.  Weather isn't really a big deal.

We are an outdoor team.  We can handle 30 ish degree weather.  3 degrees would be something different.

Allen grew up in AZ, played college ball in Texas and now is in Carolina.

Has he ever thrown a ball in cool temperatures before?

I don’t like our chances to begin with and if Allen hasn’t ever played in slightly below freezing temperature before I like them even less. Sunday in GB isn’t exactly cold weather but for a kid from AZ it might be

This is a good point and something I hadn’t considered. The high on Sunday is forecasted to be 30 degrees. Could definitely be a factor. Looking up his college games he played well in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis on Dec 29 where it was in the high 30s during the game. That’s the only example I could find and that was several years ago.

Think that is it.  Haven't found good weather info but I think I have found a site saying it was a high of 36 that day. Which probably compares to GB temps this week.  Not as cold projected Sunday though.

Allen played well for whatever that is worth.

I was only able to find two games since Cam was drafted with temps below 40 (played outdoors).  39 against AZ in the NFC championship in Jan of 2016, and 28 last year against the Browns.  1-1 record.

That's a pretty shocking stat honestly. I knew we hadn't played many, but I didn't know the number was *that* low.

Yea, according to football reference, we have been pretty fortunate in the later months in NC.  Even saw a few December games with temps in the 70s.

2014 at Minnesota was 12 degrees at kickoff and was the coldest game in franchise history as far as I know. We lost 31-13.

Was that the year they played at the university?  I had forgotten all about that.  Ignored it completely because I assumed it was inside.

We played the Viking outdoors and it was -12 or some ungodly number with Cam.
