Many of the constituents are grumbling that Wilson or Cook should be MVP and not CMC.. I say Bullocks. CMC is always overshadowed by Kamara, Barkley  and others.. CMC is something special.

No doubt. The Associated Press will have to choose between Wilson & CMC. It usually goes to a QB nowadays but if CMC can continue dominating opponents & Wilson has a bad game or 2 (including vs. us) then McCaffrey will win it.

Albert Breer called him one of the top three candidates for the award yesterday.

Right now it’s definitely Wilson. 2505 yards, 22 TD, 1 INT in 9 games with a 7-2 record. CMC has a shot but Russ will need to have some bad games and the Seahawks will need to lose quite a few games.

Being on a team with more wins, should not be a factor in determining MVP.

According to the huddle, the Panthers can’t win any games they are not favored, so nobody is winning MVP here anytime soon.

How are you the most valuable player if your team can’t even make the freaking playoffs. MVPs will their team ex:2015 Cam had ted ginn...

CMC was given the rock with the game on the line week 2 and failed to get the first. It was an out of bounds play, ram that defender down and win that game and we’re in a different conversation right now... Although this team likely lets Cam suffer since we would’ve been 1-1

Only way I see cmc getting mvp is if he breaks either Eric Dickerson single season rushing yards record or if he breaks Chris Johnson's all purpose yard record. Crazy how high the bar is for a rb to get mvp.

He will have to continue this against the Saints, Seahawks and Packers. This plus Wilson coming back down from the level he is playing.

He still plays the Niners twice, us in CLT, at Rams, at Eagles and vs Vikings... those are some tough games, doubt he keeps up that pace. Lamar is on a roll though and could be the leading candidate. And don’t write off Mahomes even with him missing a few games. It’s really fuging tough for a non-QB to win MVP which sucks.

CMC should be leading all non-QBs.  Cook has been great but not as good as CMC.
