Lost in the shuffle: Titans Defense

It was just a better matchup. The Titans don’t have the kind of pass defense that San Francisco does. They’re better against the run, but they’re not nearly as dynamic offensively. This was a game they could control, if they could get an early lead. That’s the way it has to be with Kyle, until he grows. I’ll say this: Kyle is not yet the kind of quarterback that can pull you out of a 21-3 hole. But he does respond well to adversity. Even if it’s self-inflicted. He doesn’t hang his head. Every time there’s been a turnover, save for last week, he typically responds with another drive.

I want to see Kyle play well when they are losing and I’ll be very happy.

I'll be even MORE happy, if that day never comes.

All slot corners in my opinion not great but not sorry either so i guess . We was burning them all game and people hate our wide receivers I’m just saying

If their defensive backs could catch it would have been a different kind of day. Actually, if their defensive backs would have just batted balls down instead of going for interceptions it would have changed things quite a bit. This, and the Titans offense coughing up the ball so much made their defense look much worse than they are.

TB, Indy, Falcons, and LAC all have better offenses than us. All are top 15 as well. We were there poorest offense they faced statistically.

That's easy to say but the reality is once Allen and CMC got going they toasted that defense. They couldn't stop either of them and PA killed them. I just wish we would have kept the gas on. We could have dropped 40 on them.

The Panthers had 232 passing yards yesterday after the Titans turned the ball over several times. At one point the Panthers had almost twice the time of possession.

And what about the tea in China? Should we be upset with the defense causing turnovers? Fact is Allen wasn't even playing his best ball till the 2nd QT and was shut down in the 4th. He and CMC ripped up one of the best defenses in two quaters. The Titans only blame can be put on their kicker who missed 3 FGs.

Camstans going as low trashing the defense of a team we BEAT just to try and make Kyle look bad is a new one, that's for sure.  Especially when they are usually the first to puff their chests about how good a team we beat is, and thus how much better the Panthers are.
