people are saying its mid season whatever..

I'm looking at the standings and this Green Bay game looks like all or nothing

It is an important game, but it's not all or nothing. We still have a HUGE Seahawks bout later on. If we AT LEAST go 3-2 between Saints x2, Packers, Seahawks, and Colts.....and then beat who were are supposed to beat (which is sweep ATL and Redskins), we still go 11-5. I think going 3-2 against that lineup is doable. Split with Saints, win against either Packers or Seahawks, and then handled business against a Brissett lead Colts. Even 2-3 would still put us at 10-6 (which might not be enough, but still a very good chance). But yeah, this Packers game is still a very big game.

the point im making is looking at who's in front of us, we have almost no room for error in terms of losing more NFC contests.

A lot of these teams play each other the second half of the year.  They all can’t win every game.

if we had beaten the rams... uggghh.

I don't like what ifs, but the start of this season is frustrating.

This is why you rarely make the playoffs if you start the season 0-2, statistically you are nearly out at that point.  This season is shaping up to be more than 5 loses and you are out.

The saints going undefeated with Brees out really hurt us. The NFC is stacked with Good teams this year, and just being 10-3 is probably not going to get you into the playoffs.

AFC is a joke though, what do they have, 2 maybe 3 teams tops? Also not shocked that the Patriots lost to the first Decent team they have faced all year.

Sucks when you don’t play button dwellers. Pitty

If the playoffs started today we'd be the 8th seed.

  • 1. 49ers 8 - 0  (5 - 0 conference) (NFC WEST DIVISION LEADER) (1 SEED)
  • 2. Saints 7 - 1 (5 - 1 conference)  (NFC SOUTH DIVISION LEADER) (2 SEED)
  • 3. Packers 7 - 2 (4 - 1 conference) (NFC NORTH DIVISION LEADER) (3 SEED)
  • 4. 8. Cowboys 4 - 3 ( 3 - 2 conference)  (NFC EAST DIVISION LEADER) (4 SEED)
  • 5. Seahawks 7 - 2 (4 - 1 conference) (5th SEED)
  • 6. Vikings 6 - 3 ( 5 - 2 conference)  (6th SEED)

  • On the Outside  Looking In...

  • 7. Rams 5 - 3 ( 3 - 3 conference) (with head to head tiebreaker over Panthers) (7th SEED)
  • 8. Panthers 5 - 3 (2 - 3 conference )  (8th SEED)
  • 9. Eagles 5 - 4 (3 - 4 conference)  (9th SEED)
  • 10. Lions 3-4-1 (2-2-1 conference) (10th SEED)

Getting off to a bad start in the NFC has left almost ZERO room for error. We pretty much have to beat the Packers if we even want to sniff the playoffs wc spot.

Let’s win the damn division and not worry about it. Super Bowl teams win hard games.
