I give Kyle Allen plenty of credit for what he's done, but we're not really into the teeth of our schedule yet.

I'm still not convinced we're a good enough team to beat the conference leaders, and that's not just because of Kyle Allen.

That Houston win was impressive but yeah the others haven’t been against any great teams. I still think we will rebound against the Aints and win at least our home game vs them. I actually still like our odds in the rest of our games except at Packers and at Aints.

How I feel. Allen should be able to learn on our defense (this is how the team is set up) and that's not happening.

Don't play dumb, you know what I meant.

Who is rooting against him here? Name names.

Read through the posts of people pooing all over his play. He’s had one bad game out of 7 he’s started  and it’s obvious there are posters here rooting against him.  You’re the one playing dumb.

Message boards weren't a big thing then, but I wonder if Jake Delhomme caught this much flack in the 03 season?    Especially after we hit the stretch in the midseason where we lost a few, and didn't look good doing it?

Obviously two wildly different circumstances between 2003 QB dynamics and this, but I will say I was always highly critical of Delhomme in the seasons that followed even when he led the team on playoff runs.

If you're referring to the gameday thread it was quite frankly rather tame compared to the dozens I've seen over the years.

Most fans are supporting him minus one or two trolls.

Stop being a dumb ass.

That’s not rooting against him. Cam also got poo oh for making bad plays, throws, decisions hell the whole teak gets that.

who is actively saying they hope Kyle Allen fails? If you are gonna throw the accusations deliver the receipts

Almost everyone had positive things to say in the gameday thread about at least some of his plays.  There are a few posters that think he played like crap today, but I think anyone that watched the game would acknowledge he played a decent role in us actually winning today.  I've only seen one poster that has been completely negative about him today.  Compared to previous weeks this week has been very supportive in gameday threads etc.
