I don't know either tbh.  He has flashed that ability (like vs the Saints last year - I don't care it was vs backups, he had the arm strength there)... but it has been REALLY bad this season ... but I wonder if he is rushing the throw and so not judging it right?  Very few QBs can throw a deep ball as effortlessly as Cam so I think it is an area that maybe will get better... hopefully, at least, if we are going to stay competitive for a playoff spot deep into this season, heh.

but... Allen is SUPER young and still can grow into a better qb for sure, including adjustments at the line etc.  It doesn't seem like the staff completely trusts him yet IMO.

I don’t remember any adjustments or audibles until the end of cams second year and into his third...

But he was a crowed franchise qb from day one...Allen is a make shift so I’m sure more gameplan was put into Cam.

either way it’s something that will come with experience.

at this point my biggest thing with Allen is his deep ball. Seems like he has his ball security under control and pocket awareness is ‘good enough’. I think he has the arm strength but a lot of his long balls can be intercepted easily.

Allen overall has played a good game. This is what you want from him.  

Needs more mustard on his deep balls.  Could of had a really good game as Moore had his man beat on both those throws.
