Official Tennessee Titans at Carolina Panthers Gameday Thread

Today the Carolina Panthers host the Tennessee Titans in a matchup of the mediocre. The question is, just who can out mediocre the other team?

We will know soon enough.

Until then, here are my patented KEYS TO THE GAME

1. GET ANGRY

Yeah, this is not an X's and O's kind of key. This is a key that speaks to the very soul of the team. After the embarrassment they endured last week, they need to come out with the mindset that they need to dominate the Titans. Want some respect again? Punch the Titans in the mouth and then keep kicking them when they are down. I want a blowout today. Get angry, boys.

2. Pressure Tannehill

Tannehill is a decent game manager but will crumble once he is hit a few times. Such has always been the way with that guy. Take his mind out of the game early with a few nice legal hits. I like SpiderBurns today, feel he will have a another solid game at home.

3. Diversify the offense

We all love Christian McCaffrey, but when he is 90% of the offense the team is just too susceptible to stalled drives. Kyle Allen needs to rebound from a horrible performance last week and deliver to Curtis Samuel deep early. That should loosen things up quite a bit for Norv Turner to call his typical gameplan.

Have fun today, folks. And always remember, a day with Carolina Panthers football is better than any other day.

Love you,

JI

They get angry point is a good one. One team flew to the ball with controlled rage last week. It wasn’t Carolina. I’ll be looking closely at that today.

    • I agree about hating the draft, the only pick I liked was sanders as well. It's rare for ones book to be fully written within the same draft year....does look that way and I hated that brooks pick. They did cut troy hill to give the NB to Chau Smith-Wade, but injuries got him. If Crumedy can be a backup, that's a win cause most DL backups get around 20 snaps per.  I got no read or idea on Wallace. Brooks is a longshot. XL played hurt for the entire year, lets see how he's looking during OTA, TC, etc.    If If if you have a healthy focused XL starting, Wallace *wins the MLB job, sanders is either #1-#2 TE, CSW wins the starting NB, and crumbs is a top backup. That draft will be a super success and its very possible given the lack of cap space. You can view it from the positive side too, given we still don't know...(poor brooks tho.) We will know 3x more once the full off-season is compete.
