This season has some potentially serious draft ramifications..

With the roster we have we should lose enough to be in range of a top 3 pick in the draft.. This draft in the 1st 5 picks should infuse a foundation piece to a team..

So this season and some of our young talent should answer alot of questions on where we should go in the draft..

So Far our needs looks like a bigman (Wiseman) who can protect the rim and be a rebound demon...

But the draft at the top also have 3 superstar potential point guards.. And a SG looking like the next big super wing scorer..

Terry and Donte have held down the PG position so far.. But if they falter they can be replaced in this draft easily..

Bacon and Monk better step up or the kid from UGA is easily a great fit for this team..

The only safe ppl right now in my opinion Are Miles and PJ at SF and PF...

I really don’t think this team is that bad especially being in the eastern conference. Don’t be surprised if we get the 8th seed. On paper we look like a top 3 lottery team but our young guys are showing improvement. And our rookie is playing really well with huge minutes.

Kyrie can’t do it all for the Nets. The Knicks, Bulls, Cavs, Pelicans, Kings and Thunder will intentionally tank again. Wizards and Grizzlies are not very good teams at all. And Pacers are bad without Oladipo. Then you have Golden State who’s already bad and will now be without Curry for quite some time. Hate to say it but we may be the 11-12th worst team or we may make the playoffs. The lottery draft has changed to make some people feel better about their chances. But I still believe that it is  rigged. Someone please tell me how the Lakers and Pelicans both jumped into the top 3 in the last draft to make the AD trade work out. Yeahhh.

If Michael will just let this team tank, Wiseman, Edwards, Cole or Lamelo would help this team a lot in the long run.

We are young and horrible.. You need to not let the lucky wins change that fact..

They’re not lucky wins. Borrego is a pretty underrated HC. Similar to Clifford who will get the guys to play hard every night. This team will be in the playoffs if they can get Drummond.

Edwards still my top target with Graham and Rozier holding down the PG position and Bacon pretty much disappearing..

Haven’t watch much CBB. How good is Edwards and Wiseman? I love Anthony but I just can’t see taking a PG with how Graham is playing. But then again, I guess at this point everyone should be evaluated. We’ve seen in the past by passing up a guy like Lillard bc we already have a solid PG

No matter how good of a coach you have you can't win consistently with no rim protection or great defense and rebounding.. We have a young sub par roster with no go to scorer and to many players trying to figure out their game.. Any team with good inside scoring we lose to.. Any team with a star we lose to.. Any team with more established players we lose to.. We are a top 5 drafting team plain and simple..

Cody Zeller is single handily helping us win games. Zeller is so underrated. Trade him and we will be a top 3 locked.

They will probably wait and try for Drummond in Free agency instead of giving up a asset for him.. Unless its Biz and Mkg  expiring contracts..

That would be the smartest thing for this franchise. I hope that Mitch will have enough balls to tell MJ to not fug this team up like every year before in trying to keep the seats full. Just wait till the end of the season and hope for Drummond to opt out of his contract. We have enough very good and improving young players to build forward: Graham, Monk, Miles, PJ, Bacon and even Rozier (25yo only a year older than both Graham and Bacon).

Marvin (15m), MKG (13m) and Biz (17m) will all be free agents after the season. We can give Drummond whatever he wants and not have to lose a pick or one of our young players.

Could you imagine if we keep all of our young players knowing they’ll improve next year + Cole-Edwards-Wiseman + Drummond. Now, that’s something I can have high hope for.

    • NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
    • The bottom lines to me are that a) we played well enough to beat the best team in the league and b) Bryce Young is growing into a bridge QB role (his ceiling) for us. As much as I don't want BY around after the season, it seems DC can still build the O with a game manager at QB for now. Best case scanario, we can build the D through the draft this year and take a QB we have conviction outside the 1st this or next draft. If BY keeps improving, we are going to win a couple more games this year.
    • Bryce has been a completely different QB since coming back. That started in Denver where it was obviously he was playing a lot more loose and willing to push the ball downfield  Bryce continues to build off of the previous weeks performance and that’s what you want to see Bryce has been making some real good anticipation throws. Reading defenses well. Pushing the ball downfield (7 throws of 20+ air yards yesterday. 8 if you want to include PI to Thielen). The deep ball accuracy has been there. Some of Young’s best throws yesterday were incompletions. Sideline balls to XL and Moore both should’ve been caught. RZ dot to Tremble should’ve been caught. And another RZ ball to Moore that Young gave him a chance at. Bryce is starting to execute Canales offense and yesterday Canales finally opened it up a bit. Canales was to blame for the 126 passing yards in Germany as he played a more conservative game.  The next bit I’m looking for his for Young to be a bit more decisive with running the ball. Start putting that on film and it’ll help open things up a tad
