No it was a personal attack but you got to give the huggers time to transition. They are in a world of pain right now.

I am hoping Cam gets a chance to play here again, whether it be this year or next. I guess I'm a hugger too

Yes but that's ok. Like I said the transition will happen. 2015 Cam isn't coming back and the reality is 2020 Cam may be no better than Kyle Allen. Don't blame Allen blame Rivera and Hurney for not protecting him.

The vast majority of posters here just want to see us win regardless of who's starting.

Perhaps, but TheRed isn't wrong with his statement.  Just look at the gameday thread once it is going.  If Allen is playing well, random dudes show up proclaiming him the new savior. If he isn't, we g et a  bunch of "lol BEAUTIFUL THROWS ALLEN, bet you wish we had Cam now" posters.

You're always going to have the extremes. I generally find it's best not to judge the crowd as a whole by the crazies on either end.

And let's face it, Alfred Pennyworth was right. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

There's a reason why we say "don't feed the trolls". A lot of folks on here are giving them exactly what they want.

What's wrong with being happy for Allen? Even if they are trolling. This is just a transition year. Fact is we know just as much about Allen as we do Newton. I can tell you this those I'm not going to be sad if he's winning.

Not good to bring logic into this because the lack of comprehension of it really makes it very difficult for someone to understand how true this statement is.

What makes me shake my head the most is that some people seem to think if Allen fails, it automatically means Cam is back in.

That's not really guaranteed.

Heck, Allen and Greer could stink so bad bad that the team cuts them both and denies ever even knowing them. It wouldn't change that there are significant factors working against Newton returning. It'd just mean that they have to work harder to find other alternatives.

Nothing wrong with being excited about Allen, but the point was there are people that will show up out of nowhere to join the QB argument.  What bothers me is when people say "Cam hasn't made a throw like that EVERRRR" for.... relatively simple throws :P and it happens a lot.

And anyway, we know far more about Cam than Allen.  But the most important piece we don't know is when he'll be back and how he'll play when he does.  Allen has a lot more unknowns about him since he is such a young player.  Hopefully he continues to develop.
