Per ESPN.com - Giants should be concerned

In an article naming the good/bad for the Giants...here's what popped up to me....

3. Panthers-Giants, Part II: It already seems like we'll have a rematch of this contest in the NFC Championship Game. Despite all the gaudy numbers compiled by the Giants' running attack in this victory, the Panthers still could have won the game if John Kasay hadn't missed a 50-yard field goal at the end of regulation. That's something the Giants shouldn't forget in celebrating this victory. The Panthers basically play the same brand of football as the Giants -- a strong run game, play-action passing, tough defense and solid special teams -- and they won't be daunted by a return to Giants Stadium for a shot at the Super Bowl. If anything, they'll relish the chance to play the same underdog role that helped the Giants land the Lombardi Trophy last year.

If these two meet again, the Panthers win.

I think we all need a :grouphug:

...hey we could be like the Bucs or Jets and loss to shitty teams in crucial times...so....we're still 11-4....GO PANTHERS!!!

Thats the key right there. We still could have won that game at the end even giving up as many rushing yards as we did. We had an average rushing game (for us), an average passing game, and a bad defensive game without Kemo (and for a while Damione Lewis). I really hope we get another shot at those guys because next time I think we win. We still haven't seen the playoff caliber Steve Smith or the playcalling to get it in his hands as much as we need to. I'm not worried about going back to the meadowlands.

That game against Minnesota was a series of turnovers in Atlanta's favor (assuming you're judging the best in the south by the latest performances). Fortunately, Williams doesn't fumble.

i'm starting to see a favre like quality in AP. how many turnovers did he have? i lost count.
