I am breaking my policy to avoid these kind of post this one time.  Cam was extremely popular in 2015, at least with actual panther fans, just a few knotheads didn't like him.  And in the college football crazy south, there are a significant number of black college qb's who are very popular, ie the ones that win.  Cam has been the QB for 10 straight or so losses, and he is going to get a lot of criticism, deserved or not.  That is the way things go in sports.  Has been for a while.

Hell, even if the team moves on from Newton next season, who's to say the next quarterback is white? If it's Kyle Allen or Will Grier yeah, but they aren't guaranteed either.

Again, the vast majority of us just don't give a sh-t as long as we're winning.
