Jameis Winston would be the worst possible option. I’d rather have CMC at quarterback than Winston or Dalton, two never-wases who are turnover machines with no excuse of being rookies.

If Cam ends up going on IR I wouldn't mind us signing Kaep.  Allen should continue to start in Cam's absence, hes earned that and Kaep can get back into football and learn our system and we can have a backup that gives us a chance if we do end up making the playoffs

Again, this team won’t draft a QB bc of a rookie Grier and Allen showing he can be a NFL backup the least. Cam might not be back after this season if he is still having problems with his foot. Cutting Cam will free up like 19 million. Winston and Dalton are bad but they can play in the NFL. They’ll be a stop gap QB.

19m is going to be stopgap QB pay next year.  Don't want to waste that on Winston or Dalton and become a NFL laughingstock.
