What do you sell off that anyone would want, or that would get any reward?

Look at the kind of players that get traded; good people at the end of their contracts. So you're selling off either Shaq or Bradberry. Or if you really want to burn it down CMC.

I mean maybe throw out Addison or McCoy or something, but you're not getting much for them.

Someone screwed up somewhere.

Newton admitted to limping in practice leading up to week 1 and pregame warmups.  Coaching staff should have learned several times over by now that they need to step in to protect their QB.

My guess is that it's healed structurally but there's still lingering pain. He was grimacing doing those stretches at practices. Earlier this year I injured my foot to the point where I couldn't put any weight on it and had to use crutches. X-rays came back completely negative, not even a sprain or fracture. Foot injuries suck and are pretty bewildering even to medical professionals.

They're also the kind of thing that you may never bounce back to 100% from, which is my concern now with Cam.

Is there a choice?

Whether you believe in him or not, unless you just want to throw away the rest of this season (which is probably Greg Olsen's last) you need to hope that he's better than you think.

I don't believe in tanking.

Damn, I love the game but hate the NFL for what they've done to my team and the downfall they engineered for my quarterback.

We've made it to the Super bowl twice to get cheated out of winning it all. Lots of franchises haven't sniffed such success. We have what it takes but at the same time...

It's like why try?

      The problem with drafting a DE/EDGE high in the 1st is the bust factor.  That position group busts at a scary rate.  We HAVE to hit our first 3 rounds.  Cant take chances on tweeners or potential guys.

      Man folks right on this site said Deion was gonna follow his son to the nfl and have a big impact on his draft stock with his interference and yet we have seen no such thing. He just signed an extension to stay in Colorado for the foreseeable future. The only thing we have seen is so called experts try to tank shedeurs stock with false accusations and rumors and deion just had to step in and shut it down. This why you have to stop listening to what certain people say. Too much hate and emotion in most opinions.

      That's sound logic! I think we could make a case for a few players. I know its not popular  with a few but Warren gives to the  identity we want. Tremble is mostly a blocker. Sanders flashed late but mostly a receiving  threat at the moment. Warren is an automatic 1st down, run blocks, runs the ball and can even line up and throw it. To me he is if you took the Taysom Hill and actually could play tight end too. I just think looking at Goedert, Kelce,  Laporta, Hoeckenson, Baltimore Tight ends, Knox and Kindcaid and etc... all the  last few teams had stellar Tight end play. Warren allows you to be unpredictable  on offense bc he is equally good at being a target, as he is a blocker. Don't want to run Bryce on a qb sneak, plug Warren in with the threat to pass. I would be happy with him, Walker or a few others. As long as the player isn't riding the bench year 1.
