A team would have to sign him and force the NFL's hand to exempt list him to jump start the investigation.  No team (as of now) wants him that badly.

I think pretty much everybody understands it's intentional, including Brown himself no doubt.

It also means they don't have to deal with him making an appeal. Can't appeal a ruling when there's no ruling.

Said it before, but my one concern on Gordon would be whether the Patriots know something nobody else knows yet.

Mind you, that could easily be just plain old paranoia, but when it comes to Belichick, paranoia is warranted.

We are 19th or 20th in line in waiver claims. We 100% should put a claim in but it’s close to a 0% chance he would actually get to us.

Hopefully going to whichever dumpster fire team that does pick him up doesn’t cause him to have a relapse. Going to a bad situation could be really bad for him.

Not sure what your point is, I never said it was the same. I’m agreeing AB is a psycho who allegedly raped someone vs Josh who smoked some weed, went to rehab, and seems by all accounts to have it worked out now

Not sure how many teams in front of us would actually want him. Dolphins are in lose now mode, what other team with a couple wins wants a UFA next year?

There are a bunch of 4-4 or worse teams who are well in the playoff race:

Jac

Ten

Oak

Lac

Phi

Lar

Maybe even Ari

Jac or Phi makes the most sense to me...
