Steve Smith Rips into Panthers WRs, "They may draft a WR in the 1st this year that will actually give good effort"

Smith is half right, but Curt hasn’t been hit deep all year nor is that Kyle’s strength. It’s unfortunate, but with a below average OL and a back-up lacking a deep ball this is what we got.

Hopefully Cam comes back healthy soon and finally start connecting with the WRs.

The damned Huddle has forgotten what a fuging good down-field pass looks like it's been so relatively long ago.

Delhomme to Moose was the last pure, consistent deep ball.  Jake sucked late career but his leading deep balls were a thing of beauty mid career.

If Moore was targeted in the redzone, he'd have more TDs. Simple as that. We put the ball in CMC's hands in the redzone.

Ridley has more targets than Sanu.

Ridley caught a lot of long touch downs last year you can put our game on in week 2 of last year for reference . Dj don’t get either . But i think he has potential risk EU just the better receiver

Smitty is always super agressive and passionate in his takes as he was when he played, he doesn't like to see the panthers blown out obviously. With a healthy Cam dj moore would be balling, remember his 150 plus yard game with Cam? Its bad but they probably arent playing as hard because they know they arent going to get the targets where smitty played 120% no matter what the condition. With a healthy Cam they would play harder and get more targets. Lets face it Cam can make all the throws and Kyle cannot. I dont really see Kyles ceiling beyond a game manager like a Alex smith lite. He can fill in and win the average and easy games to maybe even harder games like the jags and houstan but he will get burned by the leagues elite teams.

At some point, everyone is going to realize that it doesn't matter how many WRs we draft, the odds are going to be stacked against them with Carolina's offensive "philosophy". Smith and Moose established great careers despite playing in Carolina, not because of Carolina.

You do realize he was a third option and playing behind the best wide receiver ever arguably right ? And put up way more touchdowns . Than dj he look better that’s why you hear it a lot

Julio Jones is fast and gifted,...

Uh, didn't he say that they drafted his replacement with Moore? 0.o

true but Moore is not delivering so it's on him. I'm not impressed and I appreciate Steve's honesty. We need a solid vet  not a washed vet minimum WR.

Deep routes and bad pass pro don't mix.

Deep routes, bad pass pro and a rag arm really don't mix.

We are doing better in the arm department but that pass pro makes it tough.

This is a multi year thing and really has turned into our identity now.

I know it is the wrong thread, and I can't say I knew anything but I can say I didn't expect to win. It was worse than I expected, even in my worst case imaginings. Never expected the defense to give it up like they did.

But in spite of Rivera, Cam turns the Ted Ginns of the world into good recievers and the philly browns into servicable recievers. Im really excited about a healthy Cam.

I really think it would take Steve Smith himself to get good numbers out of Kyle Allen...I mean Dj is on pace for 1k, he isnt as bad as people on here are saying and seriousely just wait till Cam is back and actually gets the ball to him.

Bullsh*t narrative

Samuel is constantly open and Moore isn’t even being used right. If Shanahan has those two forget about it, Norv is to busy drawing up plays for his fantasy favorite Mccaffrey. Not only that but Allen refuses to throw outside the numbers.

I would like another big body WR but our WR core is not the problem. It goes QB>OC>OL
